2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Jo Daviess County?

There were two offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Jo Daviess County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by NW Illinois News.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Jo Daviess County were men. The median age of the parolees was 45. The youngest parolee was a 43-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2014, and the oldest was a 46-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Dewayne Stevenson. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015 when he was 43 years old. He is now 46.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in 2018 in each Jo Daviess County municipality.
