Oregon home prices fall in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Oregon fell by $39,850 while total sales increased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,150 - a 33.2% decrease over the $120,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Oregon in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2017 was $2,210. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,070. This marks an increase of 6.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
