Beginning his day as a fifth-generation family farmer, Fritts expressed his commitment to leveraging his agricultural background in shaping legislation, stating, "Working as a farmer in Illinois is an honor and I plan to continue bringing my experience to Springfield by crafting pro-agriculture legislation."

Throughout the day, Fritts embarked on a series of visits, starting with a tour of the Dixon Police Department. Expressing gratitude to the officers for their time, he remarked, "Thank you to all the officers who took time out of their busy schedules to speak with me!" Subsequently, he visited the Dixon Fire Department, engaging with firefighters to comprehend their roles and explore avenues for support.
