CGH Medical Center announced on April 6 that it will hold the second annual Hot Flash Bash, a free educational event focused on menopause, at the Mad Water Saloon in Dixon. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and presentations beginning at 6 p.m.
The event aims to provide women with information and education about menopause-related topics. Attendees will have access to health information booths, hors d’oeuvres, signature mocktails, a cash bar, and door prizes. The evening’s program features presentations from CGH Menopause & Sexual Health physicians Dr. Nancy Tran and Dr. Marcia Jones; Dr. Twinkle Singh from Cardiology; Dr. Young Song from Urology; and Pam Capp specializing in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy.
Last year’s inaugural Hot Flash Bash attracted more than 200 participants for an evening of learning and community engagement around women’s health issues related to menopause.
Registration is required for this free event and can be completed online at www.cghmc.com/ladiesnight.
The event is presented by the CGH Menopause & Sexual Health Clinic along with the CGH Health Foundation.
