As a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at NW Illinois News have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the City of Dixon. The request specifically seeks information about all unpaid parking violations in the city.

The records requested include the names of offenders, their addresses, the amount due for each violation, the date of violation, and the total amount due. We believe that this information is crucial in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
