For fiscal year 2025, Rock Falls recorded a median commercial property tax rate of 1.7%, ranking third-highest in Whiteside County, data from BlockShopper.com show.

The countywide median was 2.2% during the same period, making Rock Falls 0.5 percentage points lower than that figure.

Within Whiteside County’s five cities, commercial property tax rates ranged from 1.1% in Erie to 2.8% in Fulton.
