Illinois residents paid $6,231 to attend the two-year public institution this year $576 more than the $5,655 charged for 2016-17.
Non-residents paid 0.8 percent more than residents this year, or $6,279. Their price tag grew 9.2 percent from $5,751 in 2016-17.
About 95 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Illinois residents. About 5 percent are residents of other states and 1 percent are citizens of other countries.
Data shows 80 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 252 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.11 million and 48 students took out student loans totaling more than $165,503.
Including all undergraduates, 875 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.72 million. Another 271 took out $1.18 million in federal student loans.
