Morrison Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.
The Morrison Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the community to celebrate Christmas at the 31st Annual Christmas Walk on Saturday, December 1.
The theme for this year’s event is “What Elves Do When Santa Is Away”. Bringing back some of the favorites from last year, plans include business open houses, the tree lighting ceremony and the always-anticipated lighted parade. Entry forms for the lighted parade and post-parade activities can be downloaded here or submit a digital form. All forms due by November 6. Grand Marshal nominations will be accepted until that date.
Local crafters are being called on to help create “Mason Jar Centerpieces” for the Morrison Chamber of Commerce Silent Auction. Your participation will help illuminate the holiday season in a special way for the Morrison community, while raising funds for future community events.
