CITY OF OREGON POLICE: Newest Oregon Police Officer

Police

City of Oregon Police issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.

At tonight's city council meeting Mayor Ken Williams swore in Kristine Tesnow as the newest Oregon Police Officer. Kristine will attend the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy at the College of DuPage starting on 09/17/18 and will graduate in December.

"It is a long arduous process to become a police officer. We take the responsibility of picking the right candidate to serve the citizens and visitors of Oregon very seriously. We started this process in April and we are proud to have Officer Tesnow join our team. We look forward to her return from the academy. Please help us welcome Officer Tesnow to Oregon!" - Chief Darin DeHaan
