Chrsmas

CGH Medical Center issued the following announcement on Oct. 31.

CGH Medical Center and the CGH Auxiliary cordially invite the public to the fifth annual “Healthy & Bright” Holiday Lighting Ceremony to be held on Tuesday, November 13. The event is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Main Clinic Lobby, located at 101 E. Miller Road, Sterling. Help us light up Sterling as thousands of holiday lights illuminate CGH Medical Center and the CGH Main Clinic.

The ceremonial lighting will take place at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy the holiday lights on the exterior of the hospital and clinic, as well as the lit trees along Locust Street and East LeFevre Road.

The Sterling High School madrigals and chamber singers made up of around 25 students will be performing at during the lighting ceremony. They will no doubt get you in the Christmas spirit. Join us for this beautiful and festive event as we light up CGH!

The public is invited to view our healing art gallery - “Spirit of the Heart” featuring local artists. It is located in the north hallway between the hospital, 100 E. LeFevre Road, Sterling and the CGH Main Clinic, 101 E. Miller Road, Sterling. The purpose of the gallery is to host a venue for local artists to exhibit and provide our patients and families with the value of the creative process of art as a healing force. We would like to promote the proven healing and health benefits of beautiful artwork within our local hospital.

This event is sponsored by the CGH Medical Center Auxiliary and is committed to being green. LED light strands lead to power savings of about 90% over standard lights.

The lights will be in place from November 13 through mid-January.

We dedicate this holiday display to our patients, staff and community, and to your continued health and wellness. From all of us at CGH Medical Center…may your days be healthy and bright!
