Byron Public Library District Board met Nov. 19.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The meeting was called to order at 4:06 p.m. by President Barbara Clubb. Board members present were Lavonne Berkeley, Barb Clubb, David Conley and Jill Grennan. Elaine Breck arrived at 4:10 after the Minutes Approval and Rich Pleniewicz arrived at 4:12 p.m. after the Bills approval. Also attending was Recording Secretary Jeannine Hedges

Absent Members: Susan O’Neil. Also absent, Emily Porter. Visitors: None

Minutes:

Mrs. Berkeley made a motion to approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 8, 2018, the August 8, 2018 Public Hearing Special Minutes and the Minutes of the August 22, 2018 Secretary’s Audit. The motion was seconded and approved 4-0.

Treasurer’s Report and Monthly Bills:

Mrs. Clubb distributed written reports. Mrs. Clubb noted that the vendors had been alphabetized on the expense sheet.

Bills

Mrs. Clubb distributed written reports.

A motion to pay the bills was made by Mr. Conley which was then seconded. The motion was approved in a roll call vote 5-0: Mrs. Berkeley, yes; Mrs. Breck, yes; Mrs. Clubb, yes; Mr. Conley, yes; and Mrs. Grennan, yes;

Librarian Report:

Mrs. Clubb distributed written reports. Mrs. Grennan noted the auditor’s report where $18 was deposited in the wrong account and has been rectified. Mr. Conley questioned the use of personal emails used on the IPLAR report and also mentioned the term ends listed are not accurate.

Trustee Reports: Mr. Pleniewicz shared his appreciation for the Finance Committee’s work after the library’s screening of the film All the Queen’s Horses.

New Business

 Mr. Pleniewicz made a motion to approve the Annual Audit. The motion was seconded. The motion was approved in a roll call vote 6-0: Mrs. Berkeley, yes; Mrs. Breck, yes; Mrs. Clubb, yes; Mr. Conley, yes; Mrs. Grennan, yes; and Mr. Pleniewicz, yes.

A motion to adjourn was made by Mrs. Berkeley and seconded. adjourned at 4:28 p.m.
