City of Dixon issued the following announcement on Nov. 29.
The Holidays are a joyful time of year, but not for everyone. If you are feeling down, alone, or desperate, please call 1-800-273-TALK. There is someone who wants to speak with you and hear what's going on in your life.
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
