It was so nice to came back to work and receive the following letter from IPRA. Congratulations! Your nomination of the "Jarrett Prairie Center Museum Renovation and New Overlook Deck" for the Byron Forest Preserve District was chosen as the winner in its division and category for the Illinois Park & Recreation Association's Award and Recognition Program. The Outstanding Facility & Park Award recognizes public agencies for their exceptional and unique achievements in design and development. It is an honor to announce that your nomination scored the highest total points among those entries submitted in your division and category from across the State of IL. Winners will be announced during the IAPD/IPRA Conference Awards Luncheon in Chicago on January 25th. A big Thank you! to our sponsors and supporters, conservation agencies. All of our employees here are very proud and thankful for this award.
