Report: Prophetstown-Lyndon-Tampico spent $9,648 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Prophetstown-Lyndon-Tampico Community Unit School District 3 is up 0.7 percent from five years ago, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Whiteside County school district spent $9,584 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,648 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 920 to 841.

Prophetstown-Lyndon-Tampico's spending in 2017-18 was 27.7 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
