Report: Rochelle spent $11,919 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Rochelle Township High School District 212 is down 17.6 percent from five years ago, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Ogle County school district spent $14,459 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,919 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 917 to 912.

Rochelle's spending in 2017-18 was 10.6 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
