How did John Hay spend campaign funds in the third quarter?

Republican John Hay's election campaign committee, Citizens to Elect John Hay for State's Attorney, spent $4,454 in the third quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Hay's committee spent the most on newspaper advertising in the quarter, with 82.8% of this total ($1,970) going to The Flash in Warren. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Hay's committee spent its money in the third quarter.
