Morrison home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Morrison fell by $14,500 while total sales increased by 128.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $102,500 - a 12.4% decrease over the $117,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Morrison in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Morrison for 2017 was $2,218.60. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,091.40. This marks an increase of 6.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
