Lyndon home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Lyndon fell by $20,500 while total sales increased by 250%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $36,000 - a 36.3% decrease over the $56,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Lyndon in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Lyndon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,697.70, approximately 4.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
