Tampico home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Tampico rose by $3,274.85 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $30,000 - a 12.3% increase over the $26,725.15 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Tampico in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Tampico for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,684.20, approximately 5.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
