Lanark home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Lanark rose by $28,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $82,250 - a 53% increase over the $53,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Lanark in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Lanark for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,506, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
