Davis home prices fall in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Davis fell by $4,000 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $74,500 - a 5.1% decrease over the $78,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Davis in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Davis for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,221, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
