Orangeville home prices fall in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Orangeville fell by $2,200 while total sales decreased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $66,800 - a 3.2% decrease over the $69,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Orangeville in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Orangeville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,258, approximately 3.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
