Douglas Park home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Douglas Park fell by $8,800 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $36,700 - a 19.3% decrease over the $45,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were two homes sold in Douglas Park in 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Douglas Park for 2017 was $944. In 2016, the median sales tax was $907. This marks an increase of 4.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
