Rock Falls home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Rock Falls rose by $41,310 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,000 - a 94.6% increase over the $43,691 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Rock Falls in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Rock Falls for 2017 was $1,958. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,913. This marks an increase of 2.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
