Freeport home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Freeport fell by $47,500 while total sales increased by 27.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $25,000 - a 65.5% decrease over the $72,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Freeport in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Freeport for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,444, approximately 5.8% of the median home sale price for January 2017.
