Freeport home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Freeport fell by $17,000 while total sales decreased by 14.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $58,000 - a 22.7% decrease over the $75,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in Freeport in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Freeport for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,444, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for April 2017.
