Freeport home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Freeport rose by $6,950 while total sales increased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $63,950 - a 12.2% increase over the $57,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Freeport in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Freeport for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,444, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for May 2017.
