Savanna home prices fall in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Savanna fell by $45,500 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $22,500 - a 66.9% decrease over the $68,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Savanna in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Savanna for 2017 was $992. In 2016, the median sales tax was $967. This marks an increase of 2.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 4.4%.
