Freeport home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Freeport rose by $12,750 while total sales decreased by 18.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 22 homes sold, with a median sale price of $60,750 - a 26.6% increase over the $48,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in Freeport in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Freeport for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,444, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for September 2017.
