City of Dixon issued the following announcement on May 3.
As part of the Depot Avenue Water Main Replacement project, the City will be closing the Depot Avenue railroad crossing starting Thursday, May 2, 2019 until further notice.
The road closure is necessary to accommodate the installation of new water main around the Union Pacific railroad. Signs will be posted to alert the public and motorists are asked to use caution when traveling in the area.
