Byron Forest Preserve District issued the following announcement on June 24.
Take a scenic two hour guided tour launching from Oregon Park East just below the dam to Castle Rock State Park. View the areas many unique St. Peter sandstone rock formations on one of the most scenic stretches of the Rock River. Must have at least one adult paddler per canoe. Call 815-234-8535 to make your reservation, all equipment provided and only $10 per person.
