Rep. McCombie greets public at community events

71

Rep. Tony McCombie (R-Carroll) traveled to many events located across the 71st district to interact with the communities on a more personal level.

Last Monday, McCombie visited the United Township High School, which is currently undergoing several renovations in its front entrance and classrooms. The $10 million dollar construction project is set to be finished in time for this fall.

McCombie was then invited by Mayor Becky Morrison-Waltrip to speak at a Northern Illinois Mayors Association event on Thursday. Rock Falls (which falls under the 71st district) Mayor William Wescott happens to be president of the organization.

“This group of men and women have been instrumental to my personal growth and friends I will always treasure,” McCombie said in a post on her official Facebook page.

McCombie's adventures were chronicled on her Facebook page.
