Tampico home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Tampico rose by $5,300 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $69,500 - a 8.3% increase over the $64,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Tampico in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Tampico for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,684, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
