Tampico home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Tampico rose by $11,676 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $57,500 - a 25.5% increase over the $45,824 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Tampico in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Tampico for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,684, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
