Sterling home prices fall in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Sterling fell by $1,750 while total sales decreased by 1.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 310 homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,000 - a 2.1% decrease over the $81,750 median sale price for the previous year. There were 316 homes sold in Sterling in 2017.

The median sales tax in Sterling for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,150, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for 2018.
