Thomson home prices fall in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Thomson fell by $31,750 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $63,250 - a 33.4% decrease over the $95,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Thomson in 2017.

The median sales tax in Thomson for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,747, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for 2018.
