Rep. Demmer and Sen. Stewart Host Successful Children’s Expo
More than 100 families joined State Representative Tom Demmer and State Senator Brian Stewart on Saturday for a Children’s Health & Safety Expo at Reagan Middle School in Dixon.
Spotty rain throughout the morning did not diminish the fun, as families were able to enjoy an interactive touch-a-truck exhibit, a demonstration by the Dixon Police Department’s K-9 unit, and visit more than 35 booths staffed by a variety of groups and organizations that assist children and families.
