Byron Forest Preserve District issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
The winter woods may seem mysterious, but only if you haven’t explored them. We have deer, foxes, and owls that often make an appearance for those who wander into the winter silence. Dress for the weather and enjoy hot cocoa on our return. This is a free program and you need to be registered by 4pm. on 2/5/20. to participate. Please dress for the weather!
