Freeport home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Freeport fell by $5,100 while total sales increased by 3166.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 98 homes sold, with a median sale price of $64,900 - a 7.3% decrease over the $70,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Freeport in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Freeport for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,406, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
