Byron Forest Preserve District issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
The Byron Forest Preserve is looking for a Building Supervisor at the Jarrett Prairie Center. The position includes some evenings and every other weekend averaging about 20 hours. Pay starts at $10/hour (plus a free, all-inclusive personal golf pass to PrairieView Golf Club worth $1,300).
Duties include:
-Setting up/taking down tables and chairs
-Overseeing the museum/gift shop area at the Jarrett Prairie Center
-Greeting visitors
