Albany home prices rise in December 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in Albany rose by $41,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,000 - a 46.9% increase over the $88,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Albany in December 2018.

The median sales tax in Albany for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,376, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for December 2019.
