Oregon home prices fall in September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Oregon fell by $29,750 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $94,000 - a 24% decrease over the $123,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Oregon in September 2018.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2019 was $2,332. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,209. This marks an increase of 5.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
