Byron home prices rise in September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Byron rose by $7,250 while total sales remained unchanged with six homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $136,750 - a 5.6% increase over the $129,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Byron in September 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Byron for 2019 was $3,319. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,292. This marks an increase of 0.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
