Mount Morris home prices fall in July 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2019 in Mount Morris fell by $17,500 while total sales increased by 133.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $88,500 - a 16.5% decrease over the $106,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Mount Morris in July 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Morris for 2019 was $1,868. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,687. This marks an increase of 10.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
