Byron home prices rise in June 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2019 in Byron rose by $49,000 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $167,000 - a 41.5% increase over the $118,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Byron in June 2018.

The median sales tax in Byron for 2019 was $3,319. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,292. This marks an increase of 0.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
