Mount Morris home prices fall in March 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2019 in Mount Morris fell by $8,750 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $76,000 - a 10.3% decrease over the $84,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Mount Morris in March 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Morris for 2019 was $1,868. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,687. This marks an increase of 10.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
