Oregon home prices rise in January 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2019 in Oregon rose by $2,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2019, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,000 - a 2.9% increase over the $87,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Oregon in January 2018.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2019 was $2,332. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,209. This marks an increase of 5.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
