Byron home prices fall in January 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2019 in Byron fell by $28,950 while total sales increased by 350%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2019, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $94,000 - a 23.5% decrease over the $122,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Byron in January 2018.

The median sales tax in Byron for 2019 was $3,319. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,292. This marks an increase of 0.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.5%.
