Oregon home prices rise in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Oregon rose by $54,750 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $123,750 - a 79.3% increase over the $69,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Oregon in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2018 was $2,209. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,210. This marks an decrease of 0.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
