Byron home prices fall in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Byron fell by $13,400 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $129,500 - a 9.4% decrease over the $142,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Byron in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Byron for 2018 was $3,292. In 2017, the median sales tax was $3,258. This marks an increase of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
